Once you destroy the final VI Core, it'll try calling our for help (no really, the 0s and 1s are binary and translate to "HELP" in ASCII) before shutting down. Thus it's a good idea to not destroy the shield of a room you aren't going to go in, since that'll prevent the drones from sneaking up on you. The final countermeasure the VI employs when you destroy the first VI Core here is summoning additional drones in the Southern room you aren't currently in. You can either shoot the barrels poking through from a safe distance, or destroy the shield and then immediately use Garrus and Tali's Overload ability to damage all of them at once! Unless you're playing the Legendary Edition! Here you'll notice that the drones have bunched up in the doorway and are blocked by the shields. There are no Discoveries to be made in the Sol system. Luna itself is the moon of the third planet, Earth, but you probably already knew that (.right?). You'll find it South-West of the Horse Head Nebula where Noveria is. The Sol system isn't unlocked until you get this Assignment, so don't bother searching for it before then. If you're playing on a harder difficulty, then no matter the version you should save this Mission until you're about Level 40, because it has swarms of drones that can be a huge problem. If you're playing the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect 1, then you can genuinely come here as soon as you get it, since you won't have an XP penalty for Mako kills. If you're following our Uncharted Worlds Roadmap, you should be about Level 35 by the time you get to it.This is due to the presence of rocket-launching turrets guarding the VI Core entrances, and taking them out on foot for maximum XP is precarious below Level 30. If you're playing the original release of Mass Effect 1 on Xbox 360, PS3 or PC, you should save this Assignment until you're about Level 30.Thus you may want to ignore all of the precautions below and do this Assignment anyway. You get an important Class Specialization upgrade by completing this Assignment that can seriously improve your stats in defense, shields, powers or weapon damage.Rogue VI is a very important Assignment for a variety of reasons, but whether or not you want to attempt it immediately depends on your situation and outlook: Pick "Was anyone hurt?" when it shows up for +2 Paragon Points.Pick "I've heard that before" when it shows up to get +2 Renegade Points. While talking to Hackett, you can earn some Morality Points: Once you do this, you'll be contacted by Admiral Hackett, who'll give you this Assignment. It doesn't become available until you reach Level 20 or higher, then travel to a new star cluster in the Normandy. UNC: Rogue VI is unique among the Assignment Side-Quests because of how you unlock it.
